Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Marine Engine Overhaul Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of diesel and gasoline marine engines, with a proven track record of successful overhauls and repairs. This role requires a meticulous approach, strong diagnostic abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complete overhauls of various marine engines, including diesel and gasoline engines.
• Diagnose engine problems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Disassemble engines, inspect components for wear and damage, and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
• Reassemble engines according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform engine testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair options and timelines.
• Stay up-to-date on new engine technologies and repair techniques.
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies.
• Provide technical support to junior technicians.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine engine repair and overhaul.
• Expert knowledge of diesel and gasoline marine engines.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Relevant marine engineering certifications .

Additional Information:
